The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Prague, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, organized a Cultural event “Moroccan Soufism: an Ode to Dialogue and Mutual Understanding“, in the beautiful Czernin Palace Garden in Prague.
The programme was:
– Welcome remarks by Ambassador Petr Hladik, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic & H.E. Mrs. Hanane Saadi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco
– Brief lecture by Sufi master Reda Belhaj on the “Universal values of Moroccan Sufism”
– Concert of Sufi music and songs performed by the Al Firdaus Ensemble, accompanied by a dervish dance
– Exhibition of Sufi modern art – Mr. Reda Belhaj
– Degustation of Moroccan cuisine
The event was moderated by Ambassador Robert Řehák, who has great knowledge of this subject.
