On the occasion of the closing ceremony of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026, H.E. Ms. Aliki Pascali – the Ambassador of Cyprus to the Czech Republic- hosted the ceremony of the symbolic “Passing the Baton” to the EU Irish Presidency, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Alan Gibbons, the Ambassador of Ireland to the Czech Republic.
The guest of honor was Mr. Karel Havlicek – the first PM deputy and Minister of Industry & Trade of the Czech Republic.
A performance by the multidisciplinary Cypriot artist “Cyprus: Between Continents, within Time” was part of the cultural program.
