The President of the Republic, Petr Pavel, received the credentials of the new ambassadors to the Czech Republic on Wednesday, 29th of July, 2026, at Prague Castle:
H.E. Mr. Talal Abdulsalam Abdullah Alshatti, new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait, based in Prague;
H.E. Ms. Maria de Lourdes Martins de Sousa Bessa, new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of East Timor, based in Brussels;
H.E. Mr. Mohamed Meziane, new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic and People’s Republic of Algeria, based in Prague;
H.E. Mr. Christian Hodges-Nugent Docmac, new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile, based in Prague.
