Beethoven in Teplice, the Czech town where he composed some of his major works

Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the greatest composers in history, had a strong connection to the Czech spa town of Teplice. He went there seeking refuge from Vienna’s aristocratic elite and a place to focus on his music. Although the baths could not help his deafness, he found peace to compose some of his important works.
