One of Prague’s lesser-known but all the more fascinating libraries is the Jiřina Šiklová Library, hidden in the city centre on the banks of the Vltava. Although it is one of the smaller libraries, it has something to offer even the most demanding readers and researchers.
Just a few metres from Jirásek Square, almost directly opposite the Mánes Gallery, a hidden gem of Prague’s literary world occupies the first floor of one of the city’s grand riverside buildings overlooking the Vltava.
