On Monday, 7th September 2026, at the Romanian Embassy in Prague, we officially launched another year of Women Changing the World Awards Czech & Slovak

For me, it was not just another event.
When you build something from scratch, most of the work takes place long out of the spotlight. In meetings, decisions, rejections, hundreds of details, and in finding people who believe in the same idea as you.
And then there comes a moment when you look around and see a room full of people who are part of it.
It was a great honour for me to open this year, together with Lenka Šťastná, in the presence of H.E Mrs. Marie-Antoinette Barta Ambassador of Romania to the Czech Republic, our partners, jury members, inspiring women and personalities who support the idea of greater visibility, recognition and opportunities for women.

Women Changing the World Awards are not just awards for me.
They are a platform to help women be seen, make new connections, open doors, and show society stories and work that are worth paying attention to.
We took the first step together in this year’s competition.
And now the most interesting part begins.
